 | Great Goose Egg Auction 2008Open Fields is a wonderful little school in Vermont. Every two years the staff send blown goose eggs to artists around the world. The decorated eggs are then auctioned in support of the school. In 2006, 106 eggs were auctioned and $21,500 was raised, beating the last record by $3,500. ROXY MUSIC
The first artwork designed for Roxy Music. It was used, printed on satin, as backstage passes and, in repeat, as a paper poster.It appears in the splendid book by Michael Bracewell, Re-make/Re-model, published by Faber in October 2007, the story of the making of Roxy Music. It includes interviews with all the main characters and is a fascinating read. Highly recommended.
